Twelve interesting days indeed. Today, I can walk around the house without my cane . . . slowly. A lady who teaches Physical Therapy said she has never seen that happen before. I understand that this is due solely to the power of God and the help of your sincere prayers. Thank you.
My follow up appointment with my surgeon is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon; he will take the bandages off and inspect the wounds and hopefully take the staples out. Future therapy plans will be decided then. It seems I am in a distinct category for therapy because they have never dealt with someone as advanced as I am after surgery that totally replaced both knees. I, too, stand amazed.
Cynthia and Carol Pool had another “girls day out” on Saturday afternoon while Max and I watch some preaching DVD's.
Lord willing, I will be able to attend church services in Texas tomorrow. How we wish we were back in Fairbanks. Brother Ryan Gray is preaching tomorrow morning and Bro. Fred Crisco is preaching Sunday evening.
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help; my help cometh from the LORD which made heaven and earth. Psalm 121
Thank you for your unconditional love, your faithful fellowship and your sincere prayers on our behalf.
We will try to upload some pictures for you. God’s richest blessings be thine.

Pastor Duffett,
ReplyDeleteWhat technology...able to keep up to date, able to get the surgery. And all I can think of is Steve Pigot saying Take your medicine.
All is well here. The FBI got off to a great start with 67 students the first night.
We are praying for your speedy recovery and return to your family and friends.
Enjoy the warm weather while you are there, but get out before it gets too hot.
We love you and miss you.
